IS MOYES THE RIGHT MAN?

At this point in time there is no doubt in anyone’s mind about the horrendous season that Manchester United is going through since the arrival of David Moyes to the club but most of the blame is being placed upon the coach instead of the players which have suffered a huge drop in form compared to the previous season.

There are a few exceptions however of a few players that have been rescuing Manchester United from further disappointment and in that short list of performers, Rooney, Van Persie and De Gea can be named.

Van Persie edged out the crucial victory for United during their Champions League match against Olympiakos while Rooney has been scoring a few goals of his own which have helped the club from falling any further down in the Premier League standings.

De Gea has been making a consistent number of superb performances for United throughout just about the entire season and some players as well as fans already have high hopes for the 23 years old goalkeeper who is expected to become one of the best shot-stoppers in the world in the near future.

This leaves no chance for Anders Lindegaard to perform for Manchester United and this is evidenced by the fact that the Danish goalkeeper has not been featured in a single league match for David Moyes in this season and this does not look like it will be changing anytime soon.

There are rumors and reports claiming that he could be used as bait in order to lure in Celtic’s Fraser Forster who has been making a breakthrough season with Celtic as he set a new club record a few weeks ago by securing 11 clean sheets in a row and continues making dominating performances with the Scottish club.
